Letterloop is a group newsletter experience that couples a React frontend with completely serverless architecture to pass data across Firebase/Cloud Functions, Typeform, Cloudinary, Mailgun, and more.

Challenges: writing cloud functions that connect complex Typeform logic trees to Firestore along with establishing correct rules

The product was built from the ground up for friends and families to use it as a new way for group communication, focused on members answering more in depth questions to connect on a deeper level with their circles.

The product evolved from an app-less product built on a combination of 3rd party tools (Typeform, Pipedream, Firebase, Slack, Postmark) to today using a full-stack React app that lets users sign up, create their group, design their newsletter, and manage the process. We leverage serverless functions to handle operational flows in the background, including regularly sending issues, reminders, newsletters, and more.
